The trainer
Philippe Billon, an engineering graduate of Université Grenoble Alpes, has more than 25 years of experience in civil engineering and has worked in trenchless technologies since 2008.
Project manager, site inspector, technical specialist and trainer since 2014, he works on drilling projects from design through construction.
He co-founded and co-organized the Congrès Techniques Sans Tranchée (Quebec trenchless technology conference) from 2018 to 2021.
The approach
Trenchless work relies on input data that requires interpretation (geotechnical investigation, groundwater level, existing structures) and on rules drawn from different disciplines. The modules therefore start from the field: what works, what makes a bore fail, and the questions to ask before choosing a method.
Accreditation
Trainer accredited by the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail (CPMT, Quebec), accreditation no. 0058040.
